Without a doubt, with this pandemic comes changes to our lifestyle. We have new habits, new food, and new routines. When everything around us is changing the one thing we CAN CONTROL is our health. When most people think of a "healthy lifestyle" they think of eating well. However, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a balance of physical and mental health.
Physical Health: There's no better time then right now to take control of your physical health. As simple as getting enough sleep for the night or limiting your amount of sugary foods will help you lead a healthy lifestyle. An easy way to remind yourself is to set a schedule or "to-do list" for each day. This may mean making a green smoothie or going for a walk but there is no wrong way to stay physically healthy!
Mental Health: It's important for us to stay connected and check in on each other. If this is a quick text with your friend or a meaningful conversation with a loved one we need to be there for each other. Confide in someone you trust. This isn't easy for any of us.
Seeing The Positive: There are SO many amazing things happening if we just look. Our atmosphere is less polluted, crime rates have plummeted, and we are becoming more compassionate for each other. We're stronger together. Let's care for one another.
The best way we can help each other is by respecting other's health. You can do this by wearing a mask in public, social distancing, and only going out for essential errands.
